SR Introducing: PowerLab Twin Scroll Manifold SR20DET!

Hello,

The good folks at
PowerLab Engineering have been hard at work to bring to the SR20det community a high end, top notch creation: a very sick Twin Scroll Turbo Manifold . It supports all T3 and T4 based turbos whether they're twin or single scroll. Twin scroll manifolds, when coupled with a twin scroll turbo is capable of spooling 1000rpms earlier than single scroll turbos! This means less lag and therefore putting you in the game vastly quicker than your competitor!

The introductory/special price will provide you with free shipping, so don't hesitate to pull the trigger. Additionally, these high quality, cut-above-the-rest, manifolds are priced to sell already, and will soon have the competitors re-thinking their strategy to take your hard earned loot to rip-off town!

Technical Aspects:

  • Thickwall Forged Stainless Steel 1.5" Schedule 40 Runners
  • Precision TIG Welds and Back-purged
  • .5" Laser Cut Head Flange
  • Set-up for Twin TiAL MV-S Wastegates
  • Designed, Engineered and Made in U.S.A.
  • Twin TiAL MV-S Wastegate mounts
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty!!!!!

There are several options:

  • T3 TURBO FLANGE
  • T4 TURBO FLANGE
  • NO WASTEGATES
  • 2 TIAL MV-S WASTEGATES
  • NO TURBO
  • GT3071R Twin Scroll
  • GT3076R Twin Scroll
  • No Downpipe/ No Dumptubes
  • With Downppipe & Dumptubes

All prices and options are on our WEBSITE

Wrong.

The PowerLab manifold is completely different:

A.
PowerLab is more of an equal length style.
B. PowerLab
runners are routed differently and are larger.
C. PowerLab is flanged for twin 38mm wastegates while FR isn't.

Nobody owns the intellectual rights for a twin scroll manifold, last I checked.

Do you have anything of use to add to the thread? If not, please go hate somewhere else. Thanks!

True. But it seems like Full Race was the first company to make the twinscroll dual wastegate manifold for the SR, so I guess you've been sitting on this idea for a few years and they just beat ya to it? Regardless the Full Race comes with a Lifetime warranty and they are the best at what they do. I'm eager to see some comparisons here. My money is on your competitor because they have more research behind their part.

So, to your logic:

A. Everyone after DC that made a header for a D or B-series motor was second rate because they made theirs after the fact?

B. Everyone who made turbo manifolds for B-series after Rev Hard (uhhh including FR...) was second rate because theirs was made after the fact?

C. Garrett turbos are second rate because they weren't the first company to make turbos.

D. Hasport mounts are inferior to Place Racing mounts because they weren't first to the drawing board.

Your second pathetic point:

PowerLab will repair or replace ANY manifold if it breaks UNLESS the car was wrecked and in the crash it caused the manifold to break. That's what the "limited" refers to.

And no, you're not "eager" to see the comparisons because even if it were to show significant flow characteristics, you have already demonstrated who's nuts you swing hard from and would probably be blinded by any superiority that may exist.

Thanks for continuing to bump this thread btw!

Perhaps it's best to demonstrate what PowerLab Engineering has been up to prior to producing this manifold:

PowerLab Twin GT37R Turbo Kit 350z (1013whp):

PowerLab Twin Turbo Kit Supra 2jz-gte (1000whp+):

PowerLab Single Turbo GT35R 350z (350whp - 650whp):

PowerLab 76S Turbo Kit G35 Coupe (906whp):

PowerLab GT3071R Turbo Kit Scion tC (305 whp @ 8psi stock internals):

Last, PowerLab is a Highline International company (Intensepower). Intense has been in business for 10 years now. We've been building 1000whp-1600whp street cars using our own manifolds for over 6 years now.

These posts/pics/products should lay to rest any doubt of PowerLab being "the new kid on the block" and hence having to "prove itself".

Last, if this doesn't do it for you, Saad's turbo kit on his Supra was built by PowerLab too:

YouTube - Saad's ProEFI Supra runs 8 281@183 1 on 5 2 09

Powerlab (intense) has been building tons of 1000+ HP cars, just check out the supra and G35 they built. Their manifold is definitely not second rate to FR and the manifold looks like it will take anything anyone can throw at it.

Free bump for you and keep up the good work.

Wow the welds look badass, the price ain't bad for limited lifetime warranty unless you're intentionally trying to break/destroy it; seems really versatile with t3 and t4 flanges for the turbo, and since its twin scroll its good for low to the end of mid range power but that's all we need for street and drift

Please can you comment regarding fitment with AC lines? DO I need to make any modifications for fitment when it comes to power steering and AC. Both of these are very important, don't want to eliminate any or modify any. Just want to it to be direct bolt on. And are there any pictures of the downpipe? Thanks

Dude look at the pictures, the demo car has PS installed. If the AC lines don't fit initially, you can just have them wrap them around the front of the engine (any AC shop can do this).

+1 man, this is a Sale Thread that a vendor put up -- no place to debate bs like dumb dumb tried to sling.. Props to the admin whom I pm'd who didn't do a thing about it either, including not even replying to me. Rad support!

Zilvia special is FREE SHIPPING on anything/everything related to the manifold purchase. Sooo if you purchase only the manifold, it's free shipping. OR purchase the manifold, wastegates, downpipe and dumps (or any combination therein) and it's FREE SHIPPING. Honestly, the manifold is VERY competatively priced as it is.. free shipping is icing on the cake.

I will make it worth anyone's time (and money) if they pull the trigger and scoop up EVERYTHING on one order too (manifold, both gates, turbo, downpipe and dumps) -- just hit me on PM!

ALL of your points are spot on sir!

They are made to order. Lead time is only 2-3 weeks, tops!

No plans as of right now. If enough interest is demonstrated, however (at least 10) it would seem to be in everyone's best interest to start working on it!

Answers:

1. The manfiold hasn't been test fit in conjuction w/ AC yet. I personally have an S14 w/ S14SR, AC and power steering. We will be testing the manifold and turbo on it in the next month.

2. Downpipes are in prototype stage currently. Considering that the downpipe is being manufactured by PowerLab, and you've seen the above pics... one should have an idea of the quality and engineering that will be produced in something as simple as a downpipe
