Someone asked me to look at this and give my opinion. I'm a CWI with AWS as well as a level 2 across the board with ASNT-TC-1A.
Basically all that means is I know a few things when it comes to welding and metallurgy.
With out having something in my hands its hard to tell how good the welds are.
From the pictures, the heat, throat, and toes all look good.

It's not a direct knockoff, so I would have to side with intensepower/powerlab on the copy subject. Its just there version of a twin scroll manifold.

It actually looks like a well designed piece.

Is there any NDT done to the product for continuing quality assurance? What type of Material are you using has been asked but I don't think its been answered. That would make a big difference to me as well.
Some it may make little or no difference as to the material composition or continuing QA. But that is for them to decide.

Over all I would say that this looks like a good deal if your looking for a twin scroll with out the price with the info provided.

This all comes from a man that owns a Full-Race twin scroll manifold.

So take it as you will.

All looks great!! Might be in contact with you as I am currently in the market for a full twin scroll set up. Just waiting for my motor to get done! Also would be real interested in weather I can run my AC. I have a S14 with S15 swap in it and want to keep my AC! Thanks

Hello everyone, I am the owner of the demo car, let me just say the powerlab/intense has done a fantastic job in delievering exactly what I wanted. I came to the owner and told him I want a top mount twin scroll turbo set up. Working with powerlab on this I have to say that the manifold design and qualitity of the workmenship is amazing, there are a number of differences between FR and Powerlabs manifold. (look at runner layout and which ports go where) Also the down pipe is made to fit up to any stock or two piece downpipe. (two piece being elbow and downpipe). As stated above my power steering is on the car and the piping could not be easier to finish up for the ic. Like, Intense has said they will be testing on Darren's s14 sr car with ac. I will try to post up the dyno when everything is said and done. Going from a 380hp 2871 to top mount 3071 should be awesome. Thanks again Powerlab and Intense.

Looks great so far!

3,500 for everything, including turbo and waste-gates seems reasonable.

i watched as Power Lab did nasty crazy work with the VQ motors... i have zero doubt in this manifold. It looks amazing... and the price is way killer....

Edit: Han called me (turns out we're both night owls)

I've got a 180sx, which makes the AC lines even more of a pain since they enter the firewall on the same side as the turbo. I'll be posting some very detailed pictures for you guys once the manifold gets here, and what I had to do/didn't have to do in order for the AC to work.

I think priorities right now for PowerLab is this SR manifold Twin Scroll Twin Gate but, all of this has been forwarded to them and it always helps to have feedback.

Downpipe will be specific to your order.

No plans on full kit currently from PowerLab but, it never hurts to mention it to them. I think there are just sooooo many options for S chassis as that they may pass on full kits.
