OK I'm ready to start this thing.. i'm picking up my lip tomorrow.. i sould be receiving a super mint condition lip. then i will be getting started on this awesome project.

they will be made just like my valances are with attention to all the small details and not rushed. all these lips will be ready for paint out of the box.. just scuff and paint.. just like any good product should be.

the lips i will be making will be lower about 1" lower than oem (i will be hearing and taking input before i start)

once the tech section is open i will post the build thread on the valances to show how in detail i went.

i not sure what the price will be once finished but im going to start the group buy at $250 (on the high side, might be lower) i will need 10 people.

as of right now they will be made of the same materials as the valances

- High quality fiberglass (in a roll.. not in patches or hair fibers)
- High quality grade A ISO resin
- High quality grade A gel coat

You should definitely do a combo group buy, valances and a front lip. I have some engine parts I need to buy to get my new setup up in running but i am subscribing to your thread.

alright guys bad news.. the lip didn't come in this weeks shipment

but the next shipment is coming soon (before December) so that gives me more time to do the group buy.. remember the more the better discount i can give.. if i can get 15 people i can do better on the price!!!!

alright guys i guess i'll do a group buy on the lip and the valances.. but you have put a deposit on the lip and wait till the lip is finished to get the package deal

i think the oem flows perfect with the oem aero.. it just lacks that visual impression of a lowered lip..

the greddy lip looks perfect as far as the lip should sit

the greddy lip loks good .. but the oem flows better.. the oem just needs the drop like the greddy

Unfortunately it's not.... my body man said he can't get it in until mid December now. Oh well, seems like there has been a lot of suicidal deer lately and I'd hate to have it freshly painted just to have one eff up my car. And atleast the lip has a better chance of being in there at the same time

Here is a quick pic of what I imagine it should look like vs stock. Not too extreme but just bring the front of the lip down an inch or so to match the lines. Adrian, what do you think?

honestly i think it depends on how low the car will be since to low may just make the lip rip off my car.

hey gunmetal how much will it cost to ship 2 lips at once since i live near whitenoise and dont mine sharing shipping cost with him if he doesnt mind either

i don't see a problem with the lip coming off .. the greddy has a problem with blowing up on any impact with any object. i will try my best on making this lip as strong as possible

as of right now i dont know what shipping would be .. but i don't have a
problem shipping 2 lips together to save shipping cost.. as long as whitenoise is ok with it

Maybe i can ask my friend Damian at Tarmac if I can have it shipped there so blueshark can come and pick up the lip and check out the shop at the same time

if you're going to ship using fedex or ups shipping a lip to the east coast would run around 100 bucks due to the oversized box you'd have to use.
