Easy Rear Big Brake Upgrade for S13 & S14 !!!

So you have 300zx front brakes and your ghetto stock rears look too small ? not enough braking power in the rear? You thought about going 300zx rear brakes but have trouble getting all the parts? You want something easy and bolts on? This is it, the easiest rear brake upgrade kit for S13 & S14 !

We made an extension adapter which extends the stock caliper to use a bigger rotor, it measures 312mm or about 12.2inch.

This setup allows you to run the stock caliper and keep the existing e-brake assembly. Simple install, just bolt the caliper to the adapter, install new rotor and put everything back on and you are done!

Installed Pics:

  • Adapater is CNC cut from 6061 T6 aluminum for the added strength
  • 312mm (12.2inch) Slotted Rotors
  • All Hardware Included

Normally, We sell these for $397.50 + S/H (which cost another $40-50)

If we can get just 3+ buyers, the price will be $390 SHIPPED

We already received 5 sets and there are 10 sets coming by next week.

If you are interested, please PM me or post to the thread.

are the rotors gold plated or something? cause damn, for a set of rotors and a couple brackets that's kinda steep isn't it?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

last i checked, rear brakes arent *that* useful. plus, z32 f brakes w/o master cylinder doesnt have proper proportioning.

either way, its a nice option but should be packaged better, or atleast advise people to run a prop-valve in order to attain proper bias.

z32 f brakes with stock master cyl work just fine, with stock rear calipers. If you have F&R Z32, then you should do a M/C upgrade.

Stock JDM S14 & S15 comes with the same 4 piston Z32 Front calipers from the factory, and the master cylinders have the same size valving.

offtopic. (but relates to this thread and the evo/sti thread on zilvia) can you guys design/sell brackets utilizing imprezza sti/mitsubishi evolution front brembos with evolution brake rotors? how much would it be or is it better to go to our own local machine shop and get them made.

if you use the same size caliper just bigger rotors then you get no extra stopping power.........

so it's $390 to get bigger calipers with more weight but no added stopping power? am i missing something?

I was thinking the same thing,
they would need bigger calipers in the rear also to actually make a difference.

I would also be in for just the brackets.

Also, would this have any negative effect/screw with the ABS system?

larger rotors equate to more braking surface area (circumference of the rotor is increased). so technically speaking, you do gain extra stopping power--regardless of whether or not the increase is significant.

not trying to justify the price, just dont want people to be misinformed.

...huh?

I think the only benefit to these things is better heat dissipation, which can hurt or help depending on your pads and how you beat on them. These are also likely to make your car stop slower due to the extra mass.

So, maybe under very particular circumstances these will help your car brake better. Under most conditions though... well, yeah, at least they look the part.

He's right, I couldn't put it into words so I Google it. Read the part for Torque and Brake Rotor.

Its true,

but for the price

you can buy a whole z32 rear setup and be a step above this setup.

300 for a full rear setup...
