92 Nissan 240SX Hatch The current Daily Driver Updated pics on 8-15-08

My latest 240sx. I originally bought it with the intention of only using it as a race car but my daily driver was about to become incapable of passing a safety inspection I had to do something fast. Over about 4 days I tore down the daily driver (a '90 Hatch) and starting transferring parts over.

The car came to me with an auto tranny (that I found out 2 days after I started only had 1st and reverse), no brakes at all, a snapped tension rod, bent front lower control arm, a pretzel that used to be a tierod, no intake assembly, power steering fucked up, exhaust hacked up, exhaust manifold missing and a bunch of other various items not where they should be. But it was fairly straight and didn't have much rust.

Luckily, I had a slew of parts from my wrecked '93 and some help from Russ and a few other locals getting me the parts I didn't already have. Adjustable front tension rods, straight FLCA with poly bushings, Tein inner and outer tierods, intake assembly with MAF, various other small parts.

Managed to get her roadworthy in 4 days and amazingly driving straight without getting an alignment. The worse part was the tranny swap I hadn't planned for that week and did it alone until I got some help from my cousin to manhandle the new tranny in after fighting with it to get it aligned with the engine.
