Post Bug: Shows as "logged off" even when logged in

This seems to be happening a lot lately. In both IE and Firefox on various systems I've tried (home pc's, different school labs and computers). After I log in through the box in the uppper right hand corner on the forum index, it logs in, goes to the page that shows "Thank you for logging in. Click here if your browser does not automatically redirect you." But when it redirects me back to the forum index it shows like I'm logged off in the upper right hand corner. After I click on a forum it then shows the correct box in the upper right hand corner where it shows my status as logged in. This happens even if I select the "remembr me" check box.

It does log in, its just that when it first redirects me to the forum index, the page stays the same as if I where not logged in. Once I click on any forum or thread link on that page, and it switches over, it shows as logged in and everything is normal after that. This just started to happen recently. If it only happened on my home PCs I'd think it was something wrong on my end, but this happens on various systems and browsers at my university as well.

Its no biggie really, just thought I'd report it here. Did the forum just go through a recent update?

You just have to refresh the page until it shows you logged in.

I'm using a public computer and sometimes it will show the previous log-in information even after I log in with my information. Just keep hitting refresh until it shows up...

I'm starting to suspect its something with the cookies. On another PC I use I have Firefox set up to delete cookies after I close the browser but have certain sites on the exception list. I had www.zilvia.net listed but it would not keep me logged in after a browser close. After adding zilvia.net (with no WWW) it then started to work properly.

I clicked "Show Cookies" to look at the details for the Zilvia cookies. Some of them have the host as www.zilvia.net while others have it as zilvia.net with no WWW. I'm not sure on the way cookies are supposed to work and what the standard is, but maybe that irregularity is what is causing the problems.

Like I said this doesn't just happen on one computer for me.

Aha! I finally figured it out!

If I type zilvia.net/f with no www and go through the log-in process there is no problem. But if I type in www.zilvia.net/f and try and log-in I get the problem. Wierd.

So posting that here for the record...
