Automatically locking old for sale posts?

Only thing I found via searching was a blanket locking of old threads, which seemed to never have gotten implemented because old threads may be useful to bump.

However, what about automatically locking old for sale posts? maybe anything past a year, or even 6 months?

Example of one being bumped from 2005 in 2007, then again today: http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?p=2139037

This doesn't happen that often, but I think it happens enough that automatic locking will clean up the for sale section a lil bit - it's already cluttered enough as it is.

there is this one type of application
requires you to check the box if the thread is older than a certain limit
i think thats a better choice than just locking all the old threads

i saw it on slickdeals, i believe they use VBulletin as well

Well, that's what I meant... if there have been no responses in a thread after xxx amount of time - by last post, not first post - sorry I wasn't clear.

I agree with broke FS ads should auto lock after a certain time, i'm sick of getting excited only to find that some dumbass posted on a 2 year old ad.
