Just a suggestion

Can we simply delete items from the original post when they are sold? Instead of editing the post, leaving all the info, and just saying the item is sold.

Its annoying when I'm searching for something, only to find its been sold, yet all the items info is still there, including pictures. It'll clean up the for sale forum a little bit, and make searching for parts a little easier.

Actually, that is what we SUGGEST people do, edit the original post instead of tacking on new posts...
Unfortunately, people find themselves desperate to have their post at the top of the front page and tack on new posts, then get their threads closed, then PM the moderators angry because they did not read the rules.

I think I said that the wrong way.

I'm saying, when an item is sold, just edit the original post, and remove the item and its description. So that, when I'm searching for something, I don't have to click through threads and find what I'm looking for, only to see that its been sold.

I'm not saying to delete the post. I'm saying to edit the post and remove whats already sold.

Like when someone is selling a bunch of stuff, and 1 item gets sold. Instead of editing the post and saying the item is sold, just get rid of that item from the post.

ya dig?

We're saying basically the same thing 2 different ways, I am saying that the post should be updated, removing whatever was sold from the post, pictures and all, along with "POST EDITED" at the VERY top of the thread.
