I've got friends and family telling me everyone's out to get me and that buying a mattress from a retail store is like buying a used car; they're out to screw you. Since I am no mattress guru and everyone's back enjoys a unique feel what should I do?

The concerns I have:

1 sided pillow tops, non flippable, = bad idea?

$1000 plus, not worth the money?

Believing online review blogs; if you had a good experience would you take the time to let everyone else know?

The "package" I'm looking at it is a unique one (as the sales man explains it)

The bed is a King size Kingsdown Magnificence. the package consists of....

-Mattress (retail is $3995, I'm getting it for so cheap b/c its a discontinued model, so the 90 day trial won't be applicable)
-Box Springs (two small ones for king)
-"heavy duty" frame

I've been doing martial arts and to a degree, gymnastics for the last 15+ years of my life. About 5 years ago, I sprained my ankle doing move in the air and I've never really gotten it back till now, I'm able to do it on a springy gymnastics floor (at times), but not on solid concrete or even a mat, though part of this does come from a psychological fear that I'll sprain it again.

Anyways, I've never had any type of massage therapy or chiropractic service done for me in these 15+ years I've been training. What do you all recommend that have gone through this sort of thing? My body has been stiff for the last couple of years, but I've neglected to do anything about it till now.

Thought I would share my epic tale. About 7 months ago Conrad Grunewald and I teamed up to build a new Camaro for Formula Drift. He had done all the paper work, proposals,... I have been pretty much MIA for the past 8 weeks or so here on the forums. Thought I would share my epic tale.

About 7 months ago Conrad Grunewald and I teamed up to build a new Camaro for Formula Drift. He had done all the paper work, proposals, and lined everything up with GM. Well about 8 weeks ago the car finally showed up. Andrew Bohan and I went down to the dealer to pick it up.

The car had only 8 miles on it.


We decided to flatbed it back to the shop to save time from using our trailer.



We took the car back to the shop and immediately tore it apart.





It was right around that time when 2 GM LSA crate engines showed up at the shop. So we test fit one.



The next day I loaded up the truck and brought all the bodywork to Seibon Carbon down in socal.

After a fun 800 mile road trip it was time to start on the cage and seam welding.

4130 cromoly 1.5" x .095" all tig welded.







We also cut everything out that wasn't needed.





Within the next week or two parts started rolling in from places like Brembo, Sparco, Canton racing, Aim, Hennesy, Stainless works.

I then started fabbing up the fuel system, and supercharger heat exchanger setup in the trunk.



Eibach sent over some custom double adjustable coilovers.



Fabbed up the intake and radiator setup.



The car then headed over to Los Gatos Auto Body to have the interior painted.



As expected everything turned out great.



We test fit the custom 1 piece carbon dash and installed the Aim cluster.



Then Jeff Jordan from jordan innovations came up to do all the wiring on the car. Everything from the custom engine harness, chassis harness, and Mil spec connectors was done by him.





Right about then with about a week before SEMA our bodywork showed up.



The car then went off to the paint shop. After a long 2 days the car came back all painted and ready for vinyl.

Andrew from Lab17 - Graphics & Screen Printing came down to do all the vinyl and as expected it turned out amazing.

Conrad and I then towed the car all the way out to Vegas. We arrived at 4 am and slept in the truck until it was time to roll it in.

Mission accomplished. 7 weeks of 20 hour days, and lots of drama. Made the final week completely worth it.











The car won the coveted GM Design Award for best high performance product of SEMA 09.



The car also received an award from the VP of GM sales.




The rest of our SEMA trip consisted of meeting with sponsors, having fun with friends, Chasing people off road in the truck and watching them get stuck on railroad tracks, pissing off strippers, loosing money, and the last night consisted of the Penthouse at Palms Place, 3 playboy playmates, a private booth at Club Rain, and well... The Shocker.

"Well, we noticed him," Moravec said. Russell Spade, 41, of Redding was arrested on suspicion of obstructing and delaying a police officer, Moravec said. He does not face charges in connection with the alleged burglary because, other than his clothing, he didn't fit the description of the suspect, Moravec said.

Police also arrested Matthew Padel, 23, of Redding on suspicion of prowling and possessing a dangerous drug, in this case methamphetamine, Moravec said.

Police called off the search for the second man about 10:20 p.m., Thomas said.
I can see a possible motive;

If he could draw an overzealous police officer to assault him and arrest him, he would be good to sue.

Anyway I am officially starting my comic book i have been developing the story for years and am finally ready to start really putting some time into it. I am going to start posting some content as i get it maybe the first 5 pages of the first issue to get you all hooked :naughty:

for now i am just finishing the cover art, i can't put the name of the series on the cover just yet, because haven't secured any patents or copyrights yet but soon...soon.

so as you can see i am sure this comic will appeal to people here, as one of the main characters drives an s13 coupe, the other car is an e21(for those of you that don't speak BMW it is a 1983 320is)

At the start of the comic it is the day before the main characters first day of high school. So the first series is going to play out that entire year. I am sure some of you have read initial D or Over Rev or Wangan Midnight, while my comic will be manga style it all takes place in the US. The first series starts in New England but eventually it will travel all over the US as the series progresses. Don't really want to give any details right now but I will say there will definitely be drifting as well as all sorts of other driving styles. I will continue to post here as the comic develops, at some point i might actually have to get a vendor license here on zilvia.net if I wanted to sell the comic here as a graphic novel or something.

for now to get this going i am offering my services doing car portraits of your car and you, if you want to be drawn as well. I have to do A LOT of driving all over the NE and this will help fund my gas budget for getting authentic pics of the places the races will be in the manga. Hilton last week sued SFO, Hillsborough, the counties of San Mateo and San Francisco, dozens of airlines and jet manufacturers, and the real estate agents and couple that sold him his home on Darrell Road for $1.475 million in April 2003. "The marriage went downhill almost immediately upon moving to this location," he said Monday. "The house became extremely uncomfortable with the smog and the noise, and it caused enormous problems that led to the divorce."

Although Hillsborough is not typically under SFO flight paths, Hilton said the reverse propulsion of the jets and the home's hilly surroundings create an amphitheater-type sound he cannot bear. "When the aircraft take off, it sounds like bombs dropping. It's just nonstop like a sonic boom, all night long," he said. Hilton filed the 16-page suit in San Mateo County Superior Court on Nov. 10, and he is representing himself. He is demanding $15 million on claims of public nuisance, negligence, assault, battery, fraud and breach of contract.

SFO representatives said they would not comment on pending litigation.

Hilton is a former civil litigation attorney with a law degree from Duke University and was an active member of the State Bar of California for most of the past three decades, records show. However, the Bar said courts deemed Hilton ineligible to practice law in August.

He also sued the property manager and owner of a San Mateo building for $20 million in August after he got stuck between floors in an elevator for an hour, arguing that it led to a "phobia of riding in elevators."

I picked it up over the weekend for the PC and so far I'm pretty impressed with it. (It's also available for the xBox and PS3.)

I've been dying to play a great RPG for a long time now, and I think this is a pretty amazing and detailed game.

I've dumped roughly 20hrs into the game just flailing about and getting to know it. My character builds really suck and are pretty unfocused so I think I'm going to start over. I was building a DPS archer with absolutely no melee abilities and I failed. :(

I played WoW for 3 years but it's been awhile since I've had to think this thoroughly about character builds for my entire party. A+

The story is involving and also well written. I love it.
