Sr cam identification

I'll start by saying I have searched and found everything but what I'm looking for. I have a set of cams from an s13 sr20det that look like oem cams but have different markings.
Cam 1: BA19AB
Cam 2: AA39HA
Are they oem or aftermarket? Thanks

You're best bet would be measuring them with a micrometer...

I have a set of sr20 cams that I personally pulled out of an s13 redtop cylinder head. I took a look at them and there are no numbers on them like the ones you listed. The only markings on the cams I have here are a large 7 and 53J on one and 8 and 53J on the other one. These markings are raised up and part of the actual cam casting itself. They are not engraved or stamped into the cam. Other then that I couldn't find any numbers anywhere else on the cams. Where exactly are you reading the numbers you found on the cams? Almost all nissan sr20 stuff has 53J on it from what I have seen so if it doesn't have something like that then it is probably not an oem setup. Plus those numbers you have listed don't reassemble any sort of part number Ive ever seen from nissan. My Dad has been a nissan tech for 40 years and Ive been into 240's for 10 years so Ive seen a lot of nissan part numbers.

If I were you I would starting searching those part numbers on aftermarket cams and you will probably having better luck finding out what they are that way.

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll start calling crower and such. Here's a pic. It's near the end where the cam gear goes.

Well they're not Tomei, greddy, hks, or toda. I was able to look at some at my friends shop to compare. Just waiting to hear back from Brian crower now.

Ok. So you saw it in what stock sr because I have 3 other sr's in my garage and none of the cams have markings like this. Just looking for some clarification. I don't want to just toss them.

Took a look again at the s13 redtop cams I have and mine don't have any sort of markings like that. I also remember for a fact when I pulled the stock cams out of my s14 blacktop that they didn't have any sort of markings like that on them either. Unfortunately that is all the info I can offer on the matter. Do they have the 53J Cast on them? If so then you know they are stock but once again which model sr I don't know. Its a possibility they are NA cams. Pretty sure they are the exact same cams, so maybe nissan stamped them that way to differentiate between the two.

Thanks guys. Yeah they have 53j cast on them. My friend measured them for me and he said they are stock cams so I got my answer. I was told by previous owner they were "jwt or something" so when I opened the engine up and didn't see any name brand I got a little suspicious. Thanks for your help everyone.
