dumb founded on the issue, up for bid.

Hi,

bought a 95' 240sx did the engine swap (93' motor), changed the cooling system (hoses, clamps, water pump) minus the radiator, compression tested the system (held 30 PSI) and the car still over heats during the hottest points of the day. other than that i can run her full force.

changed the thermostat (3 times), fans, fan clutch, there is a heater core bypass. bled the sucker for days, jacked up, bleeder screw and radiator cap off. no leaks took it to several mechanics and they're at a loss. I'm in the process of selling her but the FS/FT section won't let me post.

any ideas on a fix? if you're interested in purchasing shoot me a PM.

most guys will flame you for this being your third post and after you sell the car you probably wont be back on here waisting thread space but since i feel like being nice.....

have you done a compression check on the car?
does it over heat if you have no thermostat in there?
are you using a 50/50 mix of coolant?
how many miles are on this car?

POssibly faulty temp gauge, check with infrared temp gun to verify temp, if it is overheating could possibly be bad clutch, or if electric fans maybe installed incorrectly, clogged radiator

Radiator could be clogged.

There is a reason you cant post in FS/FT, you haven't been here 90 days.

Since you slapped an S13 engine into an S14...did you change the stock water temp sensor? I'm assuming you're looking at the stock gauge pinging its nuts off at H after 5 mins.
