Question about rb20det into s13 wiring

Ok so I'm splicing in the grey oval plug to the rb harness I can't figure out where the black and white wire goes (ecu power) I wired the red one which is ecu constant power so do not use this wire? And also off the oval plug there's a ground do I just ground it to the chassis or what? Thanks for your input I've searched and searched came up with nothing

I would wire without and see what happens. I used that diagram and another when wiring. If you are still having problems come Monday update this thread and I will check out my wiring. Be sure to wire the resistor for the alternator
