RB rb20(det) swapped 240sx struggles to start, when running struggles to idle then dies.

It struggles to start up and when it does it has wwhite smoke coming out (open dump/exhaust) smells almost sweet. You gotta give it throttle to keeep it alive and it runs poopy anad just dies. When it was running decent it still didn't wanna idle. I have cleaned the maf and replaced the plugs and adjusted the cas. I really need advice as this is my daily driver and have been stuck the past week.

I found Out that motor was junk. I have since replaced the motor with a new rb20. Everything is wired up correctly and all grounds are hooked up. Put has in it and still won't start. Brand new plugs and good coil packs. Turns over all day long and when we put a little bit of gas in the intake manifold it started right up. I don't think it's getting fuel to the injectors.

sounds to me like your burning coolant. most likely shot head gasket or cracked block. check to see if you oil is milky looking and also take the cap off your radiator and see if there's combustion gas bubbling up in there.

It's a brand new motor with a guarnteed startup. It ended up being a fuse that my buddy overlooked. She is idling perfect and running good. We haven't bled the clutch yet and I took it for a drive and down low the clutch works and it will go but if you try to give it more gas it just revs. I think it is just slipping really bad. So I guess I'm Gunna be ordering a new one.

It was the fuel pump fuse. That was why it wouldn't start.
