Trader Rating: (12) Feedback Score: 12 reviews | http://www.youtube.com/v/pKFKHn9MPY4 Little bit about the car. '90 Coupe Redtop SR20 300ZX MAF Tomei 555cc's A'PEXi PowerFC L-Jetro for Redtop S15 Turbo As you can see from the video, the car starts right up, runs for about 1 second, then shuts off. The Story: About a month ago I got a new Braille 11 lb battery. I was hooking it up in a hurry and hooked it up backwards. Things that I have found broken. - Power FC (several diodes, resistors, a chip fried) - 75A Fuse - Ground to coilpacks was questionable. Things that I have replaced - PowerFC (brand new unit) - Ignitor Chip - 75A Fuse - coilpack Ground I have the injectors scaled, as well as the latency set for the injectors. Other than that it is the base Redtop map. On my S14, when I installed the powerFC the car started RIGHT up. When I test the coilpack harness, I see that I have power to the coilpacks, but no signal and no ground. I have checked all the other fuses, I don't find any that are blown. When I unplug the MAF, I get no change in how it acts. Same with the TPS. I am getting fuel, I hear the fuelpump prime and the car shoots fuel out the exhaust. I am at a loss for whats wrong. I've been toying with this thing for a month and can't find anything wrong. Last edited by kyles1988; 09-30-2010 at 09:55 AM.. |
