are the s13 intake and s14 intake the same? same vaccuum spots? etc? just wondering mainly. i treid to seach didnt find much about the intake tube just the manifold.

The S13 DOHC intake tube has an extra port for a second resonator just past the radiator shroud. S14s don't have it. You can cap/plug it if needed.

if you gut them, their the same. i run a gutted manifold on my car, runs like a charm, no iacv, emissions, or anything.

the little box thing on the fan shroud on the s13 that has about a 1 1/2 hose that hooks into the bottom of the pipe? other than that there the same? so i could acctually buy a s14 intake and itll work?

im talking about the intake tube not the intake manifold.

OHH! just take out the fan shroud..call it aday.

why take it out. ill just bypass that box thing and call it a day if its that simple. does the s14 tube have that egr thing on the driver side that plugs into the air box?

AIV. No, the S14 does not use that system, so there is no port for it.
