| Wiring harness question. Question#1 (I just converted my coupe to RHD, gonna drop in the SR20DE in this weekend and wasnt sure about the wiring harness, i have the RHD SR20DET harness and was wondering if it would work with the DE. does anyone have any insight on this? Question #2 (I know its not gonna be a walk in the park although i've heard of guys using a sr20de harness and converting to a sr20de-t I was just wondering if that would be that much work, in other words I have a torn up sr20 harness , then I have a uncut sr20det harness and I have a uncut Ka24de harness some guy said he'd charge me 400.00 to make one good SR20DE harness is that a good deal? Basically I'm saying they are two very different motors with two different harness. What your trying to do may not be completely impossible but it certainly won't be plug n play.

I would have someone convert the DET harness and be done with it. However, if youre stay RHD, you don't need anything converted if I'm not mistaken. You'll just have to convert the motor to DET specs. Do a search and find out what needs to swap over. They both use the same trans missions, regaurdless of NA or Turbo if it was a RWD platform DE.

| Premium Member ![]() | I had/have a rwd de... It's not possible to "convert" the harness to a DET Two totally different ignition systems... You could buy a DET harness/coilpacks/ecu and drop it right in.
