| Zilvia Junkie ![]() | HEy i just got an hks vbc (manual boost controller) I have an s14 black top with stock internals, koyo rad and iridium plugs. just wanted to know whats a safe boost before the engine begins to detonate .. ??? Btw.. the HKS VBC is actually a Norgren Pneumatics. Motion Control Equipment, Fluid Control Equipment, UK, US, Worldwide pnumatics product.. Model v07-100-nnaa ..... maybe u can get it cheapuh there.. ![]() stock turbo |

| Efficiency Slave ![]() | I personally ran 14ish PSI at full boost and 12~13 nearer towards redline. My personal AFRs reached 12.2 at the leanest near redline. If you don't have a front mount I wouldn't push the car much above 9~10 PSI. However results may vary as I have some people get extremely lean at 11 PSI. Please get a wideband but by all means turn up the boost and have some fun. |
