so i've got a rb25det, when its making boost in 3rd gear and sometimes in 4th I'll let of the throtle jus a lil bit and my hks ssqv bov makes a constant whistle....... WTF!?

Sounds like the BOV is letting boost leak past. Check to make sure it's operating smoothly.

isnt that what the BOV suppose to do?.. when you let off the throttle alittle bit, ofcourse your not closing the TB all the way for all the pressure to get release in the atmosphere. so it gives it that whistle because some air escape and some of the pressure air get in the intake.

should be normal.. unless you loosing boost, but you didnt state it.

i think it might be something with the vacuum because thats what controlles the bov.
