water pump crying? wtf??

so i just rebuilt the WHOLE freaking engine. all stock

and i havent even started her up yet...

yet my freaking water pump is crying when im putting water in the radiator...

anybody got any ideas? its from the top, its got like a little hole...tiny tiny..

should it have a screw there or what? im baffled LOL

u can still start it , juss be prepared to get a new one , mine does the same thing but i havnt put the new one it , its fine , you will juss have to refill coolant in it , like i said its goin out but dont freak out , i got mine from touge factory for like 60 bucks

A water pump is only like $40 and shouldn't take any longer than an hr.

So yeah. Just do it.

Waterpump is one of the easiest jobs to tackle on S chassis.

We have RWD engine configuration, it's STUPID easy.

Get a new thermostat while you're at it.

the water is coming out of the weep hole to let you know that the bearing is shot.... water gets through the bearing when they go out and out of the weep hole to indicate that its now time for a new pump
