| kay im pretty much new to this kinda stuff ladat. i wanted to know what the real difference is between "SOHC" and "DOHC." i just heard dat sohc motors was one of the earier model motors and dohc was the opposite.... so idk is anything wrong wit da differences.?? lmk. shoots ![]() | |

| My car gets her wet ;) ![]() | sohc = single cam. dohc = dual cam. ^ main difference. sohc was available 89-90 while the dohc was available from 91-95.5 as an OBD 1 motor and 95.5-98 as an OBD 2 motor. |
