| some problems with fresh swap...HELP! well me and a friend put in a complete rebuilt block and head. everything came together good. but heres a couple problems that we ran into: -a turbo line( i think the water line) is leaking coolant bad. but it seems tight. should i keep tightening it or something else? -Also, when we tried to start the car, it sounded like it wasnt timed right, how do i go about finding it all out? -last but not least, i put in a ACT extreme 6-puck clutch, and i took the damper box out and the clutch still seems weak and soft. and when i started the car, the clutch just stayed on the floor, and the slave cylinder is brand new? what could that be. i searched but didnt really find good info. thanks | |

| Bored with life. ![]() | check the line for holes. i had a coolant line that had a hole small enough that you couldnt see until things got warmed up and the line got warm. boy it was a pain in the ass.

Timing, umm...FSM, only way to do it. Did you follow the FSM to the T when you put in the timing chain??? Clutch line...keep bleeding it, it shouldnt go to the ground unless you got the wrong TOB. Would suck if it is...cuz they you'd have to drop the tranny to fix it...

| i'll take the bolt out and check, i never put it in in the first place, it was my friend. i have the FSM(wouldnt be close to done without it) come to think about it, my friend set the timing on that to...i think i am seeing a pattern here. and i know i put the clutch on the block right, but i thinking it has something to do with the fork or the TOB, | |
