What should I do for the heater hoses for my swap? Anyone have part numbers for what to get at the Auto store? Any info would help. I rather not get the Heavy Throttle kit cause I want this done this weekend. Thanks!

I think I have the parts numbers saved somewhere, I'll look.

There's no perfect solution, but there are some that work

best think to do is to cut the heater tube where it bends and under the intake manifold and clamp the heater hose to it, or braze on an AN fitting and run an AN barb and use socket hose or summit "twist tite" hose to the heater core, then tap ur water neck for the coolant return for the turbo, or get s14 water neck.

Have you used them before? I know some people have had issues with the Heavy Throttle ones.

i went to autozone and jus looked at all the hoses and made something work, for the top one i believe i just looped it around from where it was and then the bottom one was just a small straight

I never thought this was a big deal. We always made the factory ones work by moving them around a little.

Yes I have them on my SR right now they work but if i could i would extend the center by 1 in, but they work just use new clamps with them

If you searched my post, you will find the exact part numbers found in the Heavy Throttle kit.

Although some people swear by the HT kit, I recommend making your own because the S hose on the HT kit is 3/4" all the way through = leak at the 5/8" heater core fitting.

I just went to the autoparts store with a mock drawing of the curves I wanted...got like 1 or two random hoses and then a couple of couplers from a heater hose repair thing they had for $4. I think in all I spent like $13.

The HT kit works, as they have an barb push on adapter to go from the small hoes to the bigger hose.

HOWEVER I am NOT a fanof the blastic barb. Wihle some have had no issue, I had two of them melt and brake on me, causing near overheating the engine, as well as a mess.

Since then, I made my own out of brass fittings that shared a similar NPT end, and a bushing. No problems, 6 or 7 HPDE days, and street driving later.

You're describing the U hose. There is no issue with this.

The problem is the S hose. Like I've posted many times before. This hose from the HT kit is 3/4" through and through. It fits the SR block fine, but 3/4" on a 5/8" heater core fitting = leak.
