ka ka.. fast mid rev but slow high rev?? help im lost

ive searched but cant find anyone with this problem...i did the 248 232 cam swap rpms from 2k to 4k are normal but once i get to 5k or more it revs reallly slow..even in second gear..think maybe the cams are off? im thinking about going backing to the 232 232...yea s14 ka..so wat you gus think before i go back to factory cams...also i have brian valve springs and retainers...anyone put there 2cents in please

You lose your top end with that set up. The exhaust gases have nowhere to go when you start getting the rpms up. The exhaust valves are smaller too which doesn't help. Best bang for the buck is the 240/248 or 248/248. I never liked the feel of the 248/232.

thanks lot for youre info.i just switched back to the stock 232 232.. better gas mileage anyway. plus i dont drive it hard.. sure i screw with them lil civics but it dosnt take much to blow by them and change there mind about 240's +1 for you
