| Zilvia Member ![]() | Smoke on decel!!!!!!! turbo?? so basically its a new motor broke it in with 500 miles nice driving then slowing started giving more and more power. now i am get alot of smoke on decel... like alot, oil presure is fine no loss of power just smokes a shitload after i boost and let off...... the turbo was rebuilt awhile ago. i think thats it but i'm not sure. do motor's ever smoke on decel because of other reason's..... |

| [JEFE S14] ![]() | I could be smoking all the time, but since when you're accelerating there's more exhaust to mix with the smoke, you don't see it. If it's not the turbo seals (which is most likely), it could be a bad PCV valve/no catch can. |

| [JEFE S14] ![]() | Easy way to test that ~ if you have SS lines, route the water feed to the water return, and put two M14x1.50 bolts into the turbo's water line ports. The turbos are oil-lubricated anyway, won't hurt just for a test. |
