You might be able to use the bushing, but you won't be able to use this plate.

my only problem is that i actually need to pull shifter up to shift in 5th or reverse i think i need a custom made plate/ collar

You didn't install it correctly then...Recheck to make sure the bushing went into the transmission correctly. I have one and it feels NO different than my B&M did which consequently was twice the price.

I've re-installed it twice first time was a shop that put it on then I tried to fix it. Don't get me wrong I love the throw and whatnot but anything over 4.5k Rpms isn't silent at all.

That sucks dude. It might be the springs. They have a flat head screw at the bottom of them as a pseudo spring retainer. You might want to added a dinner bushing to the bottom. It might fix it. I haven't had that problem though. Good luck.

i dont think they split those up.

mine rattled like crazy as well. but i pulled it all apart and greased the poo out of it and it feels better than before and no more rattle.

Thanks guys for all the input. Half of the people that I sell these to say that it rattles, the other half says it doesn't. I've heard the same exact thing about B&M too. I guess your best bet is to make sure all the rubber boots are on correctly after installation and grease up the shifter.
