I've been a car enthusiast since I was 16, and I am going to buy a car for fun/weekends as I don't need one for daily driving.

My goal is to build a high quality, responsive and safe chassis and then get the where with all to get an SR20 into it.

I was looking at buying an S13 in 06, but prices were too high IMO back then, the drifting craze seemed much stronger. Things seem to have died down since then, or I'm just making more money. Either way can't wait to get started.

I'm budgeting 2-5000 for the car, depending on all factors, but seeing as I don't need a car, I'm debating getting a shell. Since this will be my first real performance endeavor, do you think adding a base line 10% to my entire budget to cover unexpected things will be enough? Or should I anticipate more?

Mods are all for the sake of KISS... don't need too much unwanted attention. Stock boost and exhaust- and staying that way!

Had a minor set back in august doze off at the wheel ran an red light and got hit left quarter panel hopefully you can fix it for summer 09. Don't have any mods yet since im still paying parents off for buying the car. oh and im a first year student in mechanical engineering.

hello all, I jus picked up a 92 240sx coupe in mint condition. just ordered k-sport coilovers and jdm gauge cluster. love the car compared to my 04 maxima. The 240 is bone stock and slow as dirt right now LOL. Hopefully you all will lend me a helping hand in guiding me in the right direction on my build. Proud to be a member here
