wheel question (searched already)
so i have a 1993 240sx coupe. Im contemplating about getting new wheels, preferably 18". im asking if these will fit on a stock body (no rolling fenders or whatever), because i've searched the forums, and see that most people have setups with 17" instead (i wonder why). i read that for s13's, you can have 8" wide wheels infront and 10" wide in the back. so, on a stock s13 body, could i fit 18x8 wheels in the front, and 18x10 wheels in the back?
correct me if im wrong, i wanna know the right information.

with an 18x10, NOPE. It wont fit without some fender modification.
But i dont get why you dont want to roll your fenders? You cant tell from the outside that anything has changed and its EASY to do. Hell, i rolled mine with a half inch drive.... +1 for ghetto ingenuity!
Just roll them already...

if u dont want to do any modding what so ever the ONLY rims that require no spacers or rolling or anything are the FN's 5 spokes by 5zigen in the 17x7 front and 17x8 and you can run a 45 or 40 profile tire. if u want 18's the ur just rice and you will not be able to fit them in cuz of their size and only nitto shit comes in a 30 profile that may just fit...

so the widest i can fit on a s13 is 7" infront and 8" in back? but i read some posts before off people going wider(not sure if they rolled the fenders tho).
i'll post a picture of my car soon...just because.

ah! my thinking about fenders being pulled/rolled were wrong. i though "pulling" the fender and "rolling" the fender meant the same thing. so the way i take it. rolling the fender means flattening the little stub inside the fender (lip?) and pulling the fender makes the car visually have more of a wider stance
"correct me if im wrong"
ok.... so say i ROLL my fenders. whats the widest i can fit on the fron and back ( 7/8)? 18" still a question or am i sticking with 17"?

Hates you & your build thread
Hell, why not pull and roll the fenders and put some 20s on that bish if you are just looking to get as big as you can and spend a shitload on tires?
