Anyone have expiernce with tomei solid pivots

During the summer i collapsed a pivot. I decided to pull the motor apart, install new timing chain assembly, oil pump, greddy oil pan and tomei solid pivots. I also shimmed the head THE CORRECT WAY. With the specialty nissan shimming tool.. The shims are all set. I'm now waiting for my pivots to come in from phase2. I'm not using tomei cams as recommended because i believe it wont make a difference. If i break something for that assumption. Then oh well I fucked up and I'll have to deal with it. I just really wanted to know if anyone who has them hears any high rpm noises. I know in V8 using a solid lifter will sometimes cause a little tapping noise or something along those lines. Also keep in mind the motor is completey built from top to bottom.
