I have a "sphereical" knob, its got a chrome finnish. Its really nice, its just like the momo globe knob. The thing i dont like about it is i have to wait alittle while in the summer to touch it, its hot as hell. And in the winter, its cold as a block of ice. I would recommend a leather knob. I like mine though, because i got it for free from my brother, and its got a bling bling shine to it.(the only shiney thing i have)

Someone explain the performance-minded reason why you'd want a bubble shift knob? The ones I've seen are pretty long and don't seem to be very ergonomic. Or do you guys just enjoy your shifters looking like sex toys?

i made a shift knob out of an aluminum doorknob like you would find in an office building...it looked mega bling but i could never get it to attach properly.....as well im a bartender and i can tell you the best shift knob is a Heiniken draft tap handle.

Seems to me like it'd be hard to drive with one of those, due to the length.

hmm performance reason?
It "might" be used to decrease hand movement between steering and shifter
the higher the shifter, the closer it is to the steering wheel.. = less hand movement when shifting and turning/drifting. This is just based on my raw 5 second observations.

another reason i can think of is... JDM Phimp.

I personally have a Nismo knob, but I think a Bubble knob would be rad. I think they look really exagerated and stuff. I think im into wierd stuff anyways, but they are a bit pricey.

Thats what i want. I would prefer clear, but as long as it is that round shape, I don't care on the color, pink, blue, clear, etc. Where did you get yours? and if anyone goes to Autobacs, please check for me. I live in Virginia, not quite as many resorces. lol
