in profiles...i clicked on "personal" and typed in the url where you are supposed to... but still don't see avatar! im sure this question has been asked millions of times...sorry.

No worries.
It's a problem with where you're having it hosted. The best way to do it is upload it to zilvia.net through the <a href="http://www.zilvia.net/forum/avupload.cgi">Custom Avatar Upload</a>

After you do this, the URL will be http://www.zilvia.net/forums/non-cgi...youravatar.gif

Wav399 don't actually type "http://www.zilvia.net/forums/non-cgi/avatars/custom/youravatar.gif " If you allready have a Pic uploaded just follow the instructions.....

To assign yourself a personal avatar simply type in the URL to where your personal avatar resides to within the "Personal Avatar" input then click the "submit" button on the bottom of the page. After that has been done go back to your profile and select "Personal" in the avatar menu then click the "submit" button on the bottom of the page once again.  That's it and make sure it's the right size.
