Hi there so I'm recently new to the forum and kinda need some help on deciding what to swap my stock KA24DE auto motor out with some for a reason able price around $2000. Where I live SR20 are hard to find so last option was to import one from JDM - Ottawa. Thinking about going for 93-97 JDM RB25DET SKYLINE GTS TURBO R33 ENGINE, 5SPD, ECU, UNCUT.

I know I will need new engine mounts and transmission mounting as well. Any advice or help

?

Zerolift autolabs here in cincinnati, OH is supposed to be a decent exporter od jdm motors . Rb25det for 2600 I think . All motors are supposed to be under 50k miles

Ps rb25 swap is expensive, need a custom driveshaft, manifold, mounts, probably more I'm forgetting .

I live in Canada, I can import JDM Source- JDM Nissan RB25DET

Cheaper then SR20DET black top for my S14. I got money for it just can't decide if I wanna go with SR20 like most people or yeah lol :P.

My KA24DE is automatic right now, If i could find a 5 speed tranny for it I would build it but its rare to find one where I live. Canada, Alberta,Edmonton.

S15 front ends on 14/13's look like ass. Just sayin'.

And when you're thinking of doing a swap. Multiply what you think its going to cost by 2 and the time you think its going to take by 3. too many people assume swaps slide right in. Never does.

I haven't done the conversion yet. People have there own opinion on looks. I personally think it looks sick. Really wish I could find a KA 5 speed tranny cause then I could just rebuild it already but no luck finding one :P.

All I have on my s14 at the moment is, Brand new Megan Racing Track Series Coil Overs, Front skid plate, oil catch can,new spark plugs, all fluids redone, 4 new brake rotors and hawk pads with stainless steel brake lines, Supermade gentleman body kit, 30mm rear tra-kyoto over fenders, cut out all the rust and welding in new body metal, prothane bushings for whole car done. Some other small things too but year just need performance upgrade.
