Used RUCAs

I am planning on buying some used RUCAs from someone online, and was wondering if there is anything I should look out for in the pics?

I know they've been used for at least a year, but are there any particular things I should look for to make sure they aren't broken/defective?

Sorry about the newb question guys, I've never really bought used parts/suspension arms online before.

Thanks

No way to really check the heim joints visually from pics.

Buy new.

Is it possible to replace pillowball joints?

They are a particularly good deal, and I figured it would be better to get a used quality brand as opposed to something like ISIS or Circuit Sport which is what my budget allows.

Thanks again for any feedback guys, and sorry if these are stupid questions.

Send a message via Yahoo to ManoNegra
Checking for play in the joints can only be done with the parts on hand
having said that, I don't know of many RUCAs that would fail in a year's time
assuming the seller is telling your the truth
most quality brands should be able to sell you a replacement pillowball as well
it may be worth finding out how much that would run you just in case

other than that, check to see if the jamnuts/adjustment areas aren't stripped round

Cool, I'll check out those areas the best I can.

Thanks for the response.

Here's the best picture of joints I could get.
I'm not too experienced with suspension parts, but they don't look that bad.
They are Silk Road RUCAs, so I'm not sure how tough it would be to get anything replaced.

What do you guys think. Thanks again for any advice

I would buy them, i bought a used pair of cusco rucas they looked brand new from crimsonrockett he's a member on here, my point is i would get them because when you buy new parts there only new when you first install them and then once you dreive there used so i see no issue with it i like used parts save money ,and besides cars a depricaiting asset....

Im mainly worried about the joints, does anyone know how hard it would be to replace these if they turn out to be worn?

Any other advice?
