Which sprint rate to go with KW v3 > S14 RB25 <

Hey guys i have a 1998 s14 with rb25 and i got kw v3 for it, the SPRING rate is:

Front: 6k 340
Rear: 4k 260

So i did a tons of research and a see a lot of people using different spring rates with rb25 so need some opinions please. A want a balance of street and drift car and i dont wanna damage my v3's just increasing the compression ratio of the shocks.

BC Racing Coilovers uses 8k front and 6k rear for a r33 gts
D2 Racing uses 12k front and 7k rear
some others guys uses 10k front and 8k rear
other guys uses 13k front and 7k rear
and i found a dude thats running 12k front and 6k rear

I called KW and they sell only 7,8 and 9k springs.

Anyone recommend using swift spring on kw's?

Thanks folks

Use Swift Springs with everything.
Most aftermarket coilovers for the S-chassis come with 8/6 springs. Some people go 7/5 or lower for comfort, some 9/7 or higher for stiffness. However, generally you should not go more than 2kg/mm higher or lower than what the shock came with.

9kg/7kg. I got 8/6 and regret it. It was too soft. But hey, that's me. 8/6 is the best balance between stiff and soft; generally speaking on 240's.

I dont know the inner diameter.

Are you going to buy swift springs too? If you do i already got the part number for a s14 with rb25 in it. I think im going 9k front and 7k rear so the part numbers are:

Front: z60178 090
Rear: z60228 070

Call Track Works and talk to Shaun, great customer service and he gave me the price of $360 shipped for a set of 4 springs.

Dude i would keep the helper spring until now that u you asked, so my answer is idk! Are you going to keep the helper springs?

If your'e planning on daily driving it, stick with 8/6 or lower because anything more will require weekly chiropractor visits. But really it comes down to what you want out of it. Just remember that the springs shouldn't be doing all the work, thats what the damper is there for.

I have 8/6 in my coupe and it's a lot stiffer than you might think. I'd personally like to go even lower than that.

Im probably going to go 8/6 with the helper spring to give it a more comfy ride. Im going LS1 in the summer and the stock KW springs have already broken on me once.
