Is it the window amp if this happens?

My drivers side window has been acting up lately but for a while I was either able to bang on the door panel or remove it and jiggle and zip tie the wires that are connected into the amp...but now none of those tricks work. Do you think its the amp causing this problem? Or could it be something else like a loose wire or the switch?

it is the amp. i gurantee it. take the amp out and remove it from the plastic casing its in so you can see the "motherboard" or whatever u call it. look for any cracked solder in one or many of the 8 spots near the conector side where u plug the amp in. ive helped probably 4 people with this same situation and they all found the cracked solder on one of the terminals re-soldered it and it worked again. i myself have fixed about 10 of them. good luck

My amp didnt have any funky shit on it. All the solders were good, and nothing looked burnt out. Swapped it out for a brand new one and fixed my problem.

Same here,
I've had multiple window amps go out in my s14. Heck, to be honest, S14's are known for window amps/ignition switch's going out ALL the time!
