Wrapping headliner..

Quick question, If I were to wrap my headliner in fabric would I have to strip off the old material or would it be ok to go right over it?

And If I have to strip it off, whats the best method?

man, your lazy. Why would you think you can just go over it. Have you even thought that the glue holding on the og headliner might give out befroe the new shit your going ot lap over it? Just do it right, strip the old shit, and clean the headliner and add new glue so you know it is done right.

I put mine over the old fabric back in June of 2009. It's still holding up fine.

I would say rip it off. I'm pretty sure a heat gun or a blow dryer will heat up the adhesive to help get it off. Good luck!

If your headliners looks good now just wrap it. less you wanna spend the time to tear off the old one and clean all the old glue up then wrap. its really up too you.
