You really dont need an ignition at this time maybe some bigger wires 8.5mm or something....I have a friend with zex and stock ignition..runs fine another with sr20det and nos no ignition and again a friend w/ a star kit t3t4 clipse w/ nos and no ignition....maybe a piggy back or upgraded ecu!

one of the reasons for an ignition upgrade is to gain the ability to retard the timing to avoid detonation. MSD makes a number of good ign modules that changes timing adjustment during use of nitrous (remains at stock timing when not in use). i believe u also need a tach adaptor (#8912) for the 240. the ECU is usually mod'd to alter timing and fuel curves for bolt-on mods. i'd first consider the MSD and a good set of wires at same time. my $.02
