I was at Hyperfest at Beaverun, PA. The first one they had. The drift competition sucked at that one, but on the bright side, some goof with a bling-bling S2000 kept fudging his slides and f-ed his front bumper all up. It was classic.

well Dave (DMC) is an idiot. He left the video camera on in the car so we had no charge by the time the drift comp started. But there was a select few (maybe 6 out of 20 competitors that actually could drift) a couple of them held consecutive drifts on the whole course.

Jenne-yeah those dumb s2000's always give me a chuckle, there was a similar happening @ this event, a bunch of guys came close to hitting $hit, but one guy got on the grass and slowly hydroplaned towards the wall, plopped his front bumper off, ran over it while smoking his tires(on purpose) and then drove off.

billroberts&240degrees- the model showoff was the weakest contest i'd ever seen. one hott chick bent over showed her thong(great ***) and flashed her tatas(first time DMC has seen em that close) DSC woulda seen em too if he wasnt so busy playing with his camera and trying to zoom in.
the other three models consisted of an ok looking chick in a bikini, a really pale white chick in normal clothes, and a drunk bald guy with no shirt. they disqualified the hott chick who flashed everyone, and the pale chick took first place and the bikini chick took 2nd
IT WAS WEAK

overall pretty cool event, gotta hang out with charles(sykikchimp), and matt(mbmbmb23) as well as check out some pretty badass cars from honda challenge and american iron, an dsome cool mad tyte JDm american drift cars, mainly consisting of 240sx fastbacks a bunch were sr powered and some cool corollas, one 350z that rocked it out.

i'm pretty sure DSC is gonna post some pictures later on. he wont be back till tonight

yeah bikini contest was sooooo weak. my car placed second in the drift competition. the dude with the whit S13 was crazy good though!! wow I was impressed. there were only two SR cars in the drift comp. most of the 240s in it were pretty stock KAs. (Sr cars finished 1-2 ) the dude in the GS-T eclipse was pretty good too. course layout was pretty weak too. Lowes needs to break down and let us use the go Kart track for this. anyway. I had fun hanging with everyone again. im just getting back and off to see a movie. more to come later. I took alot of pics witfh the SLR so I need to get them developed and scaned so they will be up later this week. peace!!!

Hyperfest was good stuff. It was hella hot outside. $2 for some water....HELL NO! I will have to agree with everyone that the white s13 w/ silvia face was pretty damn good. The guy in the 350Z wasnt that bad either.

Oh yeah, Charles, thanks for letting us crash at ur house.

there actually was a thread like this. you even replied to it, haha. but yea...

weekend was awesome. i couldn't drift worth of sh1t, but open diff will do that to you it was great to get some actual track time. definitely worth the long wait, money, and baking in the sun for the whole day.

big thanks to charles for letting my friends and i stay at his place. i didn't stay for the awards or whatever. so the s13 coupe got 1st, tony-driving-steeles' car got 2nd. who got 3rd?

i def. regret not doing the hyperdrives, but i was broke, and i also saved a lot of money driving down in dave's parent's SUV, plus way more comfortable ride.

Hey guys, I was there. I was the one with the straw cowboy hat on in the afternoon part of the day. I might have spoke to a couple of you there. I know a grip of the 240's stayed at the Mariott where I was (was rollin in the black cobra parked there). I'm actually kinda ****ed that I didn't hussle and get my car out there. Congrats to the people who placed and I hope all had as good as a time as I did. Maybe I'll see you all at the next meet. Oh, and the girlie show was the definately worst I've ever seen. Can't believe the first girl got DQ'd for doing a little flashN. Oh well, not worried about it. I'm not losing out on any cash.

Also got some pics and vid, I'll try and post some pics later. I'm going sleepy time now, just got home.

yeah I was at the event. I was one of the two black guys hanging out by all the 240s' Im not hard to miss. lol my car; was number 45;
Click the image to open in full size.

next time hopefully I'll have the money and will do the hyperdrive. I need more track time.. .both Grip and Drift

Hurley.. damn man I didnt even realize that one was yours!! lol. it looks 10x better than your sig pic in person dude!

019 - dude that spot they use for the drifting is so unfair to the NA cars. Tony even commented he didnt have enough room to burn out and accelerate like he wanted for that first turn.

I guess I missed the cool Hyperfest - Beaverun was weak, but I think it'll be better next year. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! I'm jealous- I was tuning all weekend. Having problems with running rich - thinking of trying a super afc.

Is there another event coming up that we could kick it at?

WOW.. overall, a VERY fun weekend. I'll have some pics up soon.

Lessons learned:

- Slide control is VERY important on track.
- I need a roll bar, and harnesses.
- Heel/Toe is MUCH harder at speed when threshold braking from 120 to 50 onto a 90 degree corner. :hammer:
- Rev limiters truely are "Fun limiters"
- Assembling whiteline endlinks is harder than actually installing the bars.
- EVO's are slow and dangerous with crappy drivers.
- The nut that holds your rear strut to the knuckle can be substituted with an open ended lug nut. hooray! (Frankie is the man.. don't know his SN.)
- There are local ordinances about public nudity! who woulda thought?!
- Tim, Brandon, Russ, and Jerome... all pedofiles. too bad mommy wouldn't let them play at the hotel. LOL.

019, S1lv1a - Anytime, you guys are a riot.

Steeles - I'm betting you and Russ were behind Jerome calling me at midnight looking for a strip club?! I didn't get the msg till the next day. sorry.

Yea I'm definatly going to beaver run next year. Steeles were you riding around in a s13 fb? Is anyone else going to beaver run? i know its a long time away but i really wanna see some real life driftin.........and some real life "tatas" haha. I didnt realize so many people there were from zilvia we should have a barbecue at the next one(free food because that place was expensive) also good job to the people i met from zilvia, charles, only watched him do one of his drives but he was good, and matt boostins13 he was driving someone elses car and still did good drifting. and everyone else that i didnt meet there

HPDE 2.. they had to run group 1 & 2 together at Lowes b/c they didn't have enough entrants.

CMP should be fun.. Make sure you have some good brake pads. I hear that place is hell on brakes.

Did you get that fuel cut figured out?

no sure didnt. i put the wire back together and teh car still wouldnt fire. so i plugged all the sensors on the tranny back in, still wouldnt fire. so i unplugged them, the ECU, and the negetive battery terminal and left it for about 15 minutes. then, i reconnected the ECU and battery (but not the tranny sensors) and the car fired right up. i dunno what was wrong, but its fine now. i was scared, haha ill try and play with it here some.
