hey wassup guys I was just wondering if BOV kits like from Phase 2 HKS Full Hotpipe SSQV BOV Kit - S13 SR20DET works with a SMIC and the right piping for it?

yes its a beautifully made piece that works with either Stock SMIC (tho u need to disable ur stock recirculating valve) or Front mount intercooler. Works good, another budget choice that phase2 carries is the blitz DD Blowoff valve kit which replaces the center section of ur hot pipe.
