My dad just bought a 240

Funny stuff man, my dad always busted my balls about owning an import and thinking I'm fast. He's always stereotyped me. Well after taking him for a ride and showing him it's not about speed, but that I'd rather improve my skills in drift w/ a little demonstration of what it is. He now loves the car, and just up and went to buy one today. Good stuff. Now I get to teach my pops how work on the ride. I've got an emerald blue 95 s14 and he's now getting a burgandy 95 s14.

I wonder if I can talk him into doing an sr swap, being as the engine has 175K on it.

So i guess it's the other way around. You ain't a chip off the old block, it's more like he's a chip off the young block

Tell your Dad (from an old guy..me) that this is the nicest thing he could have done for you...and him. (my eyes are watering at the thought)

I miss the Father and Son situations me an Pops had. Got to love hanging with the old man..no matter how he gets (or use to get) on your nerves..One day, he will be gone..and that is something none of us can prepare for.

My POPS,He is 80 and going strong...but he is also 600 miles away. When we get together, I plan to have a day of flying model airplanes with him.

I take my hat off to your Pops...

(BTW, I am 44..is he going through his midlife crisis as well?)

You never know...Pops might show you a thing or two...never underestimate us "old ones"
