Arrow Jet Black Sil80 build...came along way

well i am 22 years old, i am a Corporal in the marines and im married and have a 10 weeks old son. i bought this car about 6 months ago after searching for a long time. it came with a decent start, but needed alot of work... but it came with redtop sr20det that run amazing and a clean s13 silvia front end and thats what sold it for me.... heres how it came

the rims were horrible...(17x7 +42)...i know

but first i had alot of work to do with the interior.. it was wrecked... so i took it out and with some dye and TLC... it came out sick...

before

and after

and then i noticed i was sitting on some blown struts and knock off springs... so i got some Tein SS coils, adj tension rods, and control arms...

before

and after

and then after a lil bit of work here and there it really started to come together...and ready for paint... i found a guy who would primer, base, and clear(3) for 400 if i did the prep work...DEAL!!!

turned out pretty sick

not bad for 400....

and then came the wheels... i came across a great deal for some xxr 501's 16x8 +15's... got my fenders rolled and slight pull in the front and put em on... still need to lower it a lil bit...

so thats how it sits now. im sure i forgot to post pics of some things i have done, but ive been a nico guy until they got the new software..

s13 sr20det
3" top fuel downpipe
3" top fuel downpipe
3" test pipe
injen intake
2.5" FMIC
greddy rs bov
greddy turbo timer
competition stage 2 clutch
Tein SS coils
adj tension rods
xxr 501's

and i think thats it....lol

thanks for checking it out... let me know what ya think!!!

i don't mean to be a dick...but why are you fenders rolled for 4x4 status? and that interior is ummmmmmm yeah. you should have stuck with one color and not mixed black and brown. i would lower and redo the interior. but the paint looks good.

well i havent lowered it because my sr wiring harness is running through my front fenders and i need to tuck it up a lil higher so i can lower it without eating through it, but wouldnt rolling them be a good thing to do to just about any car with coils... just saying, dont mean to be a dick and the interior will be all black, soon as i feel like buying a black dash/center console and putting cf door panels and ripping everything out to put new sound deading in.... but i understand... your from va...

ummm yeah, whatever that means. btw, if you don't wan't to go through the hassle of relocating the harness you coul always weld/bolt in a plate to cover it in the wheel wheel.

i used a more expensive kind that is a srpay but its a liquid that you still have to rub in... it works alot better than that cheap crap from autozone... but it is still the same 18 year old carpet... but check out the before and after pics....

thats a good price for an alignment. especially with the camber set. everywhere around me would charge $160 for something like that. more if it took the tech longer than expected.

and those are the exact wheels i had on my accord, just in hyper silver. looks good, but they always look better lower.

well i hit a local junkyard and found a prime 92 hatch...

picked up
2 q45 ignitors
2 great condition door panels
240sx center tail piece (tired on my JDM tYte piece)
new center console lid

thought it might look better to paint the new center piece because ive never been a big fan of the one piece looks on the hatch with the black paint... soo

next purchase will hopefully be a boost controller/gauge... tired of running 7lbs...lol and i dont want to go manual but budget is tight and i dont think i want to settle... i had a greddy profec b in my old evo 8 and i love it.... well see

Needs more stretch and a lot more low.

Other than that, I dig it. That's some nice paint for $400.

Looks good man. Don't mind the forum junkie elitists that have to shoot down every car they see because a life savings wasn't invested into it. Your car looks good. I'm hoping to get some XXR's here sometime soon also.
