Is this a normal amount of metal shavings to be on the tranny drain plug?

There wasn't any chunks but I dont know if what I have is too excessive.

Anyone with a ka24de run there harness under the upper intake manifold, did you need to extend the injector wires? or were they long enough?

Anyone running either a 4.3 or 4.6 final drive in their stock KA S14? I wanted to hear some opinions of how it is for drifting... Searched, but every thread I found ended up with a bunch of talk, and no real info.

Can't say absolutely that it's normal, but my stock diff had about that much on the magnet when I swapped it out.

I ran my harness in the Intake manifold. yes you would have to extend them. I extended them 4" to ensure they have enough slack. make sure you get good quality automotive wire.

Im installing a xenon hid kit. the type with balists and was wondering about this plug. The instruction manual i got with the kit says to plug this into the headlamp control. so where does it go? In the box inside the engine bay or into the socket where the old h4 bulb pluged in?

Is this essentally the power for the kit? heres a pic of the plug.

Q45 is going to have an on/off reaction at low rpm/throttle. S13SR or S14? Stock intake manifold? Cams?

Going to be tight. You have some room on that side but not 100% on where that will end up.
Ok here is my setup... i have an s14 sr. greddy intake for top mount 1150cc injectors. Crower cams (dont know lift or anything). 3076r turbo and pushing about 30lbs of boost. The tuning shop its at right now is saying with e85 it should make close to 500 hp. I just figured with all that airflow a bigger tb would be useful. What do you think... worth it? and should i put it on before it gets tuned?

Thanks!

Into the round rubber plug that normally plugs to the back of the sealed beam.

Yeah thanks but fuck that. Turns out I can get pretty much exactly what I'm looking for from my own workplace. It's called a press-connection coupling.

has anyone ever used the hobart co2 cylinder kit with a hobart handler? Looking to get off of flux core wire before I stitch weld my bay so it's a bit cleaner. I'm wondering if its a good buy for 100 bucks or so. My handler also came with a regulator/tubing that i may be able to just use the tubing that came with it if anyone knows where I could source an adapter to fit paintball co2 tanks? opinions please and thanks

So I have an rb25 neo thats bored .040 over, with scored cylinders and dont want to go any bigger and would like to get another RB block to go with a smaller size piston. Are all rb25 blocks the same whether they are neos or not? I believe the head is the only difference. Thanks in advance

i have a quick question. I have circuit sports ss turbo lines running to a isis t25 replacement turbo. reading after the fact that the ss lines wont thread into the turbo. So a local shop that specializes in AN fittings worked out a setup that would thread into the turbo from the ss line.. Now the ss line has a 1/8 inch inner diameter throughout and the fitting provided to install into the turbo that did not fit was also 1/8.. but the fitting i had to purchase to thread into the turbo opens up to what looks like 1/4 from 1/8.. Would this be bad to run? or would it be ok because the feed line already restricts flow a bit?

Just pick up a copy of D-Sport or SS and find the add that has the blond with big tits by the engine block...sleeves are what you are looking for. You are asking about resleeving your block. My question is though; why would you want to get rid of larger displacement? Cubic Inches = Higher Power, More Torque

No, I dont want to resleeve the block. I have talked to local shops that have been doing it for years and said they do not like to resleeve blocks unless completely necessary. It ruins the integrity of the block. And as far as I know they only make .020 and .040 over for the RB so that would mean I need to downsize

Re-sleeving the block ruins the integrity? Find another shop.

Does anyone know the 12v ignition power to the wiper switch is? ie what color (I know where the wiper switch is lol). I'm running power to a temp gauge and need an easy source to tap into near the steering column.

Hopefully I'm not going to get bashed for this question but I believe it to be legit. I've lived in central Texas my whole life other than where I was stationed in the army and I have only found two shops with dynos that are willing to tune foreign cars. Does anyone know of a shop around the Lubbock/Amarillo/midland Texas area that are legit?

I've come to the realization that I need to move to somewhere else. There are maybe 4 or 5 people in my town that know anything about 240s other than what they look like. The only shop we have with a dyno is a speaker shop lol and the other one is for mustangs only. Just thought I'd ask.

I am wanting to do a GC/Koni setup, I have the konis and im looking for a better housing like the one custom fabbed in the build thread. Only thing is i was having a hard time getting ahold of the person who did them. Anyone know of a substitute for this?
