ok, so who the hell is making rear lips for a S14 zenki bumper? Here's a quick teaser pick for those who are going to start saying that this thread is useless w/o pics. It's just a start, but it's going to be a slow process as I don't have too much time to work on it. Anyways i'll "try" to keep this build going with more pics.-No I don't have any pics with it on the car
-Yes it will be a full lip
-Yes that's bondo (fiberglass and foam is the core), just a prototype to make a mould off of
-Yes that's an extra bumper, not the one off my car
-BLAH BLAH BLAH

why do u even need a rear bumper lip???

for as long as i remember they go on the front bumper.

second of all, why hastle with it, when its gonna go flying off during drift events anyways? i wouldn't pay money for it or waste the time on making one.

not trying to burst ur bubble, just my opinion.

the rear looks like crap and sits too high w/o one. S14 zenki valences are horrid and don't line up any side skirts. I'm not making it for "drifters", and items shouldn't fly off if you know how to install it right the first time.

hmmm other than that I just like making parts...

Hang in there vtund777, looks good so far. The rear lip i am making is on hold due to my life getting in the way of my hobby.

blksylv - Yeah, um next Q. Nah, I made the side skirts but I never released them since people were rocking the kouki sides. "Maybe" i'll do a full kit release once I'm done w/ a final rear lip design. The one i'm working on right now wont be a production design, just a one off for my car and i'll work off of that design. Again, "maybe". Any new pics of your car?

5t341tH - Yeah it's bulky at the moment. Like what you said, it's still being worked on. Just getting the parts all smoothed out and even. Shape and curves will follow.

here's a side angle to show how it flows with the bodyline of the zenki bumper. Simple and clean. It's low enough to hide the exhaust from a side angle.

MavericStephenc - I "might" make multiple lips but not of this design. I'm using this design for my zenki, but I will be modifying it "if" I decide to move it from a prototype to a production item.

icedsole - I know what you mean, but I'm going simple for my car (nothing too aggressive like the kits out there today). More OEM'ish looking. "If" I do make a production item, it will not look like the one pictured above.

essforteen - It won't. I'm working off of the lines of the Kouki side skirts so it will line up with those versus the zenki side skirts. That's because the front lip I designed was based off of the lines of the kouki side skirts...no turning back now.
