Stuck Coilover

So I've got a stuck perch, the silver threaded part that the rings spin on.
So far I have done

PB blaster..about 3 cans soaked almost daily for the past week and a half
Vinegar
Mallet
Hammer
Torch
Channel Locks
Strap Wrench

I'm not gonna give up but I'm out of ideas..any suggestions?

let me guess, this is probably a Megan Coil over huh?

Had a buddy with the same problem, contact the manuf. you'll probably have to send it to them to remove

Or you could cut it off j/k

I've had the same problem with an old rsr coilover. Ended up using a pipe wrench, it sorta messed up the collar, but I got it loose.

pb blast it. then take a tooth brush all around it then use bfg. i seriously had my coilover set for 2 years rain salt, dirt rust. and it came undone after i thought it was seized using this method.

Why not just cut it off at this point? It sounds like it's half destroyed anyways. A lot of coilover manufacturers DO sell replacement hardware like perches. I KNOW for a fact that TEIN and JIC do, they're not that expensive either.

i had same problem but i used liquid wrench instead of pbblaster. use a chisel and the biggest hammer you got or go with the pipe wrench that was suggested it works...

Put a screw driver in a groove on the collar and hit it with a hammer. Hot water also works for me too.

I have the same issues with my 2 front megans. I've soaked them in numerous amounts of things, used giant pipes, huge wrenches, chisel...you name it, I've used it. I've even tried a small amount of heat...NOTHING!

I've contacted megan and they sell the perch for $50 each.
I've yet to figure out getting them off though...

I've also got a deposit on them so I'm just having my sponsor make me custom ones...

Good luck though.

People, grease up the threads before you install your coilovers, and whenever you have them taken apart. They even sell anti-seize sticks in any parts/hardware store, but regular lithium grease works just fine. You will never have this problem, ever.
