| Lightweight goodness ![]() | Hmmmmm. They look like they would create more drag than anything. Vortex generators would be better for that. It might pull air down, but very likely the drag would increase with the increased vacuum (low pressure). Vortex generators swirl and influence additional air into the area with no significant drag penalty. There is allready a significant low pressure back there. But it really isn't clean air. If you have a wing, it works best at the roofline. Clean flowing air under the wing is really important. At least in high speed track applications. |
