| Hello, I have a question about my passenger seat. I have a 98 SE with leather seats from a 96. The passenger seat is up (like when someone is getting into the back seat). When putting it back upright, It must be pushed back all the way to click into place. My buddy has a 93 with seats from a 95 that don't do this. His seat will click into place without having to go all the way back. Its done this for years, but I rarely have anyone in the back, so it never bothered me. But now I have a child on the way and Im afraid that a car seat won't fit because of this. Im sure that the problem lies in the rails. Does anyone know if theres a way to fix this? Thanks in advance. | |

| Zilvia FREAK! ![]() | Its supposed to snap back to a 90 deg. position. If its not, then it must be a problem with the lock/release mechanism. I would take of the side cover off and see if you can understand why its not clicking back into upright position. Maybe take a look at your buddy's; see if you can tell what's wrong with yours. Can you even fit a baby seat in the back of an S14?
