| Premium Member ![]() | Tire size opinions...... The wheels for my S14 will be arriving soon and I need to purchase tires. The wheels are Work XD9 18x9 +20 front and 18x10 +18 in the rear. I hate the stretched tire look, and I will be running near factory camber. I want to pull the rear to a nice flare, and would like a nice flush look. What tire sizes do you recommend without causing rubbing on the coilover, and to provide a nice amount of rubber on the ground? My car... My RB25DET S14.... THANK YOU |

| Premium Member ![]() | tires I was thinking that I could better evaluate the amount I would have to pull the fenders based on the tire size I was running. Would it be better to base the tire size on the pull? I have never done a pull, so I dont know how far I can go |

| Leaky Injector | I'd base the pull around the tire you choose, you don't want too much pull. Then it looks goofy. I'd probably run 225/35 in the front and 255/35 in the rear. Because those are the smallest overall diameter/widest tires without getting into crazy expensive stuff. You could probably do a 225/40 in the front but it might rub, depending on ride height. I'm not too familiar with S14s so I dunno whether the smaller diameter of the 225/35 is necessary to prevent rubbing... but based on what I've seen with my S13, smaller overall diameter is always better in the front. The 255/35 might not be enough beef, so you could do 265/35, if you want more rubber. Again, not too familiar with S14s so I don't know much about fender clearance, but those tires are kinda what I would be looking at. |

| SLINKY + ESCULATOR = Fun Times ![]() | You dont want a stretch look...then get the same width tires as the rims. 9j rims = 225 or 235/40s, 10j rims = 255 or 265/35 18s. You stuff those wheels tho, with no camber, prepare to do a pretty decent pull at the back. And no, nothing will rub the suspension (unless you have some really shitty ones that has some really thick design).

| Premium Member ![]() | tires Thank you, those are the exact sizes that I was considering. Now that I pretty much know the size I want, what manufacturers do you guys recommend? I dont want to get crazy, they wont see any track use, as I have a seperate set for that. |
