questions about SSR vienna Kreis

18x9....+24
18x10...+11

Hey i might buy a set of SSR vienna Kreis and i was wondering if the face of the wheel can be taken off with the tires still on the wheel?

Is there a special procedure to take them off?

Also what would be a normal price for these wheels in good condition besides one wheel that is curbed in the picture and another with peeling paint.

thank you guys

i did a little more researching and found out that they are 2 piece, does that mean it requires no silicone seal when assembling it? can it be done with tires inflated? or should i just deflate them? also anyone know the torque spec of the bolts?

no, it means that the face is welded to the outer barrel, so it does not come off separately. no tires. silicone is a must for ANY multi piece wheel.

It's only $20 or so to remove tires, just find a good shop.

that's a negative. don't do that. don't waste $1500 and cause a safety hazard just to save $20

I was wondering because the owner of the wheels asked if i would like the tires on or off.

yeah i changed my mind on taking them apart. i think i'll just leave them alone but is $1400 a good deal for them? tires are 80% front 60% rear. thanks again guys

not true either.

I had a set of advan sa3r 17x9+10ish that were 2 piece, but NOT welded.
The barrel was one whole piece and the face bolted to the barrel, and I actually removed the center to repaint w/ the tires fully inflated w/o a problem.

OP, IMO if I wasnt sure if the wheels were 2 or 3 piece I'd get them w/ the tires off, repaint/refinish them and than mount/balance tires.
