even though the lighting isn't the best, you shouldn't have any issue seeing the readouts if everything is lit up properly. make sure your bulbs aren't burnt out or that your dimmer switch isn't set to a lower setting.

color choice depends on you.

^ I'm with him. I have no problems with seeing the cluster with the lights on.

Why would you even ask us? Your the one who will be always be looking at it. Plus I HATE red or amber led or lights for my gauge cluster.

I just like both colors and wouldnt mind either. I would just change the old bulbs and stick with the same color. Just want to try something new.

Get all the colors and switch them up every 2 months or so. You'll have something "new" bi-monthly.

Pick whatever color you want, however know this:

Red is the easiest on the eyes for conserving your night vision.
This is helpful if you're driving back roads at night. But driving on the highway it is a moot point, since every jackass with a ghetto, illegal, drop in HID kit will be blinding your ass anyway.

Why not stick with OE...its just one more thing that would be in the back of your head down the road, thus the next modification you do will be semi-half assed. Plus red/amber is for hondas.

its not that bright in reality, about the same as OEM, its the camera setting that made it look AWESOME

IMO its better than the OEM piss yellow on the s13s....

^^Red/Amber conversions have always been associated with an EK9 Type-R conversion on a civic.

A 240sx is not a BMW/Z32, unless you just decide you want to change the color, doing it because you want to pretend to be a Z32 is quiet dull, and I would rather clock my bushings than waste my time battering the image of my car. IMO

Just leave it alone and look at things worth improving on the car.

i like cool white or baby blue with red needle and ofcourse stick with the original color for gas, signal turns, bat light, engine light (amber just for this), etc....
