gauges replace climate control

Hey guys, im thinking of doing the aftermarket guagues were the climate control goes, and moving my climate control elsewhere.

I've searched around here on zilvia and couldn't really land a good post.

Trying to find a place that sells a kit for doing this kind of thing? I'm thinking of getting 3 gauges installed there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I made my own piece out of fiberglass.

I don't have a picture right now, but I'll try and remember to post one up tomorrow.

it's custom. measure. get material. cut to size. trim holes for drop-in installation of gauges.

EDIT: this is only for S13s

i took out the center vent and got a triple 60MM gauge bezel to go in there.

it's a piece of aluminum with 3 holes. i got it off ebay.

keep your climate control at least for heat broseph, but there really is no need for the center vent on our cars.

I'm not quite sure there is a kit for replacing the climate control. I mean you can put a gauge cluster in there but you will most likely need to extend the wiring harness to the climate controller to re-locate elsewhere.

I have a S14 and re-located my climate control into the arm rest.

How did you extend the cable(s)? Or does the S14 climate control not have cables for the mix door?

No you have to extended the wire harness (meaning add more wire to each wire), if I recall there are about 32 wire that need to be extended.

You still have to cut the actual DIN to get gauges in there. Plus I was eventually going to delete the radio and put more gauges or switches.

S14 is all electric. There is no mechanical cable.
