Like I said before, ETA is finally 6 weeks(for the car to go in).

I've been told before "oh yeah, after so and so car leaves, yours comes in" only to be let down.

So, I'm not getting my hopes up just to be let down again.

That's what happens when you get a "hook up".

Where would be the best place in southern california to find a cheap type x kit? I talked to jay at panda garage and his pricing isnt to bad but im looking for cheapest prices around before i go out and and get it

Personally, I'd rather pay a little more, and deal with a reputable place like panda garage. The problem with alot of 240 owners, is that they are always looking for the cheap way out. Most of the time cheap=doing it twice.

Took some day time pictures of the car... i figured i'd share...

Before:


1 day after getting it back from One Day Paint (full aero originally purchased from Mikey @ the old Superior Nissan 4 years ago $$$)

After:


Zipties holding the bumper lights


duct tape holding the bumper together


dented quarter panel


attempted the "gangsta" line @ WISR but dented the quarter panel instead. Hay bales do leave nasty marks


Much after:


"newer" aero (thx johnny for the trade)


Had the parts sitting @ storage for a year and i finally got the time to put it all together


rubbed all the scuff marks off and fixed the dent. Rubbing compound + wax = semi restored 4 year old one day paint job.


You can tell how badly beat our chassis is from 6 years of learning how to drift and drive... I also had to raise the car for her since she dragged the first OEM lip a cracked it before... I eventually lost it at the 5 fwy. I think this is the best we can get it to look since its going to get beat up again at the track. Lol.... zipties still holding the bumper lights... (haven't had the chance to install the new ones plus turn signals)

Its a 180sx ''aero thread", I am more focused on the front oe bumper and the side skirts.

I can see the miss perception behind it, but the way I see it is that its original, yet its not as mainstreamed as the usual silvia conversion. I originally had a stock white 92 hicas hatch, 150k original miles, and the owner was a senior. I got rid of it for a 93 dual cam coupe once I saw a proper onvia that didnt carry some tacky body kit. That front oe end is so simple, practical on fitment, and sexy.
